🎨 Studio Statement

I'm Brooks — an artist, designer, and detail-obsessed graphite nerd based in Savannah, GA. I make portraits, prints, wearable goods, and tactile tools that help people feel seen, celebrated, or just a little more grounded.

By Brooks is part studio, part sketchbook, and part Southern charm offensive. Every piece here was made with care, coffee, and a pinch of “you sure you drew that?!”

My work lives at the intersection of hyper-realism and handmade emotion. That includes:

🐾 Why I Do It

I started drawing animals as a way to slow down. To process grief. To honor presence.Now it’s grown into a studio practice — and a business — rooted in care, connection, and curiosity. Whether it’s your dog’s eyes, your partner’s favorite cap, or your city’s skyline, I draw what holds emotional weight. Then I turn it into something you can hold in your hands.
