New Work, a New Look, and Something New for the Newsletter

A few things have been moving at once this summer, so here's where things stand.

The site has real photography on it now. Until this week, the homepage was running on placeholder images. That's fixed — the new hero and About page photos are from a festival booth, not a studio backdrop, which felt like the more honest way to introduce the work.

The Bark Jacobs (Marc Jacobs) collaboration is public. My pet portrait work has been featured on 4 of 11 bags in the Bark Jacobs campaign via JuiceboxNYC, including the campaign's main video ad. It's been ongoing since March, and it's changed how I work — painting bags quickly, over and over, pushed me toward a looser, faster line than the studio commissions usually allow.

New original work is up in Fine Art Originals — an Animal Series (cows, rooster) and a set of Botanical studies exhibited at The Beach Institute's Legacy in Bloom. Take a look if you haven't.

If you want in, sign up below — subscribers will hear about all the new project and work, before it opens up here!
